MSAG Data Consultants, Inc.
is privately owned and was formed in 1988 for the purpose of providing local governments and their agencies with mapping, addressing and database services necessary for Enhanced 9-1-1 Emergency Telephone Systems. Since its founding, MSAG’s GIS-Base Mapping has led the company into furnishing GIS services including Tax Mapping applications for existing and new clients.
Settling in Orange Virginia, just east of the Blue Ridge Mountains, MSAG is recognized as one of the leading public safety mapping firms in the nation,
and is a long-time member of NENA, the National Emergency Number Association, and APCO, the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials.
MSAG has worked on E911/GIS-related projects for over 100 clients nationwide.
Primary clients include County, City, and Town governments.
MSAG's state-of-the-art GIS base mapping expertise has led the company into a full range of GIS-related services for existing and new clients around the country.
In addition, MSAG partners with many of the top GIS software and hardware vendors in the industry to strengthen its solution offerings.
MSAG Data Consultants is staffed by individuals with expertise
in photogrammetric mapping, rural address development, database compilation, address maintenance, Computer Aided Dispatching and communications center mapping projects.
Experience covers planning, staffing and operating PSAPs; project management; public information campaigns; production planning; production control;
and coordination with government and private agencies affected by the E9-1-1 system.
In 2001, MSAG Data Consultants began providing Internet access to clients for viewing County map and parcel information for both local government use and public use.
In addition to this service, MSAG’s map maintenance can now be managed over the Internet for clients.
